Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect
We process account data such as user ID, email, and language; questions and reading history; credit and subscription status; referral relationships; necessary device and log data; and feedback you choose to submit. We do not store full card numbers.
2. How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, generate and save readings, sync history across devices, manage credits and memberships, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot, and improve the product within reasonable limits.
3. Service providers
Clerk provides authentication. Creem acts as payment and tax processor for checkout, subscriptions, receipts, and refunds. Hosted database providers store account and reading data. Microsoft Clarity helps us understand page usage. AI model providers process content needed to generate text readings. Each provider processes data under its own policy and our service instructions.
4. Cookies and analytics
Login state, security, language preference, and payment flows may use necessary cookies. Microsoft Clarity may collect de-identified page interaction, device, and session information for experience analytics. Browser controls can limit non-essential cookies, though some features may be affected.
5. Sharing and sale
We do not sell personal information. We disclose relevant information only to bound service providers or authorities when needed to provide the service, comply with law, protect users and the platform, or complete a notified business transfer.
6. Retention
Account, order, and entitlement records are kept as needed to provide the service and meet tax and dispute obligations. Reading history remains until you delete your account or request deletion. Security logs are generally kept only for a reasonable troubleshooting and abuse-prevention period. Records required by law may not be deleted immediately.
7. Security and international processing
We use reasonable controls such as access restrictions, encrypted transport, and least privilege. Providers may process data outside your country; we use reasonable contractual and security measures required by applicable law. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, export, or deletion, and may object to or restrict some processing. We may verify your identity first. You can also manage reading history and subscriptions from your account.
9. Children
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
